Heyyy! My name is Corina Calcaño, but I go by Cori, and I am very pleased to be this year's Deputy Secretary General of High School for PANAMUN XXIX. I am originally from Venezuela, but I have been living in Panama for the last five years. I am 18 years old and a current senior at the International School of Panama.

I began participating in Model United Nations in 9th grade three years ago. I have participated as a delegate and as a chair in PANAMUN and other conferences. I love debating and having the opportunity to have that MUN experience. These opportunities have allowed me to find my voice and improve my social skills, consequently allowing me to meet people from across the world and become knowledgeable about important global issues.

Besides participating in MUN, I am also part of the flag football team in my school. I enjoy playing flag, soccer, dancing, and other sports. Overall, I love being active and staying busy all the time. As a Deputy Secretary General, I look forward to becoming a trusted, friendly face and a leader for all chairs and delegates. It is my goal to be a guide for all individuals to find their passions and interests, and inspire them to continue to pursue positions within MUN.

I am looking forward to meeting all chairs and delegates in October and having a fruitful three days. Let's make this conference the best one yet
