Hello everyone and welcome to this year’s PANAMUN XVIII! My name is Melany Morales, and I am honored to be the Deputy Secretary General of Middle School along with Andres Larios.

I am currently a senior in the International School of Panama, where I had the incredible opportunity to participate in PANAMUN since freshman year. Six years ago, I moved to Panama from Venezuela, where I am originally from. Apart from MUN, I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, and playing board games with my family.

PANAMUN was the first official debate conference I attended and since then, I’ve grown to love debating. It has allowed me to be open to new perspectives and challenge notions, as well as collaborate with other fellow delegates. 

I am very excited to work alongside the rest of the Secretariat team, and hope we can show you what a fulfilling and incredible experience PANAMUN is. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or any of the other Secretariat members for guidance. See you in October!
