Hello! My name is Hamza Yaafar and I will be the Deputy Secretary General of High School in this edition of PANAMUN. I was born in Panama City, Panama and have lived here my entire life, but I am also Lebanese. I am currently a senior at the International School of Panama. Throughout this conference, I am generally in charge of working with both chairs and delegates to ensure that everything goes perfectly.

I have been participating in debate and MUN since 7th grade, which has allowed me to obtain a lot of experience that has helped me understand many of the things that go into making a successful MUN conference. Participating in these conferences has allowed me to go through some of the best moments of my life and I want to ensure that this is possible for all of you during PANAMUN XXVIII.

I am an avid believer that everyone can be successful in PANAMUN if they are willing to participate. A lot of this might seem different to many of you, especially because the conference is being held online this year, but I encourage you all to try and go out of your comfort zone and I am sure you will impress yourselves with what you are able to achieve.
