Grace

Hey delegates! My name is Grace Chae, and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I am honored to be one of the chairs for the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) in PANAMUN XXIX! I was born in South Korea and I lived there for 8 years until I moved to India to stay for about 4 and a half years. Then, I returned to Korea and lived there for 2 years, and 3 years ago, I came to Panama! I like to bake, watch movies, and spend time with my friends in my free time. Because I go to the school that hosts the MUN conferences, I was able to get 2 years of debate experience in the last two PANAMUN sessions. The second year, my last conference, was the best conference for me as I knew what to expect, and prepared, spoke, and participated much more than my first conference. Participating more helped me realize that I was into debating, and decided to try out chairing for a conference. Even though it’s my first time chairing for a MUN conference and I’m a bit nervous, I’m so excited to be able to meet you all! I look forward to listening to your ideas on how to solve the issue given!

Clarice

Hi, delegates! Welcome to PANAMUN XXIX! My name is Clarice Bezerra, and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I am honored to be a chair for this year’s Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) committee and look forward to working hard together with my co-chair to achieve the best MUN experience for all! I was born in Quito, Ecuador, but my family is from Recife, Brazil. I have lived in Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and am currently living in Panama, where I have lived for the past 12 years. I enjoy playing video games, hanging out with friends and family, drawing, going to the beach, and cooking. Additionally, I especially enjoy MUN. I have been doing MUN since 7th grade, but this would be my first conference as a chair. MUN has taught me many incredible values, in particular, speaking in public, being prepared, and overall awareness of pressing issues. I am enthusiastic to hear all the approaches to this year's issues prepared! I am certain that we will construct a fun, yet productive and knowledgeable debate! Feel free to reach out and ask questions, I will be more than happy to help. Thank you for participating in this year's PANAMUN, and I look forward to meeting you all!
