CHAIRS

Quetzalli

Hello, delegates! My name is Quetzalli Carrera-López, and I am currently a junior in the International School of Panama, where I have been studying for the past 4 years. I am honored to be the chair of the International Press Corps (IPC) Committee for PANAMUN XXVII. I was born in Quito, Ecuador, but I have had the privilege to live in a total of 10 countries around the world. I have always enjoyed debating, so when I moved to Panama I joined the debate club in 8th grade. As of 8th grade, I have been granted the opportunity to participate in three PANAMUN conferences, and since then, my passion for debate has only grown. Apart from debate, I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with friends! Although this is my first time chairing a committee, I am excited to meet you all and have a fruitful debate on this year’s issues! I will try my best to make you feel comfortable during the conference and hope you all enjoy this amazing experience as much as I will!
