Sofia

Hello Delegates! My name is Sofia Correa. I am 17 years old and I am currently a senior at the International School of Panama. I was born in Brazil but I have lived in Panama for almost all of my life. Since I was small I have always enjoyed discussing and debating controversial topics that I’m passionate about. Besides that, I really enjoy playing drawing, reading, and watching movies. I first started debating in 9th grade where I was a delegate for PANAMUN. I have had experience working as a delegate and a chair before and now I will be able to work with you! I am so excited to be having this conference with you, I think it will be a great opportunity for us to talk about important topics and arrive at some interesting conclusions. It is such an honor to be guiding you through this process. We are all working very hard to ensure that you have a positive educational experience. See you soon!

Martina

Hi delegates! My name is Martina Garzonio, and I’m currently in tenth grade at ISP (International School of Panama). I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and lived there for nine years. Later, I moved to La Paz, Bolivia, and finally relocated to Panama in 2018. This is my 6th MUN conference but my first time chairing one. All of these MUN experiences have taught me a lot in many different ways, like topics and issues, public speaking, and writing. Outside of debate, I’m a swimmer at ISP and dance at an academy in the city; besides, I enjoy cooking for my family and friends. I’m really excited to meet you all and share an amazing experience in this PANAMUN XXIX session. Do not hesitate to email me with any questions that may arise in the preparation process. I look forward to meeting you all in October at what will be a great conference!
