Lance

Hello delegates, my name is Lance Newman and I’m currently a senior at the International School of Panama. I’ve been a part of PANAMUN for 3 years now, and I enjoy every second of it. This will be my second year as a chair. I love how Model United Nations can bring diplomacy, ingenuity, and problem solving out of everyday students, all with consideration to different viewpoints and policies. This PANAMUN XXIX conference I have the honor of chairing the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), a brand new PANAMUN committee that I can assure you is challenging yet rewarding. UNOOSA is truly the present and future in the political realm of space and it’s involutions. Feel free to reach out at any point with questions or concerns. I hope you are as enthusiastic about solving these problems as I am, and I look forward to seeing you in debate!

Sebastian

Hello delegates, my name is Sebastian Laredo and I am incredibly honored to be one of your chairs for the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs on the upcoming PANAMUN XXVII! I am currently in 11th grade at the Metropolitan School of Panama, although I am not from Panama myself. I was born in Mexico, and have moved between several countries ever since then. As of now, I have lived in 4 different countries, all of which have enriched my life and cultural knowledge. As for myself, I have always enjoyed debating and participating in MUN conferences from whatever opportunity I can take. MUN has expanded my knowledge of the world, and developed my public speaking abilities. Ever since I began my MUN journey in 7th grade, it has become one of my passions and I am always excited to progress as a delegate and more. I also enjoy playing basketball, video games, and ping pong in my spare time. I am incredibly excited for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to meeting all of you in a rich and productive debate!
