Clara

Hi guys! My name is Clara Crystal and I am currently a sophomore at the International School of Panama. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts but I have lived in Panama for most of my life. This year I have the honor and privilege of being one of the Chairs of the Middle School United Nations Security Council in the upcoming PANAMUN XXVIII conference! I have been in debate club since 7th grade and I have gone to four MUN conferences. When I first started, I didn’t have the guts to even ask questions, but I have grown from the experiences and I have fallen in love with debating. I am part of my school’s track team as a sprinter and thrower but also in our string quartet playing the cello. Outside of school, I surf with my friends. I want to bring an environment for us to be empathetic in interacting with diverse opinions, approachable, trustworthy, and eager to support our fellow delegates. Good luck with your preparations, see you soon!

Vinicius

Hello delegates! My name is Vinicius Da Paixao and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I am originally from Brazil and I have lived in 4 countries, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Panama. I have been involved with debate since my freshman year and I have been to two PANAMUN conferences and one CEP MOAS. Apart from debating, I also love soccer, I play in ISP and in a club outside of school, Costa del Este FC. When I grow up I would like to be a businessman working in the sports area. This year I have the privilege of being a chair for the Middle School United Nations Security Council at the PANAMUN XXVIII conference. I am working hard to make this conference the best possible experience for you as a delegate and for me and my fellow chairs. I hope you all are ready to keep debate at an excellent level as well as being an example of diplomats. I am really excited to see all of you at the conference!
