CHAIRS
Josuannie Mendoza
Hello Delegates. My name is Josuannie Mendoza, but refer to me as Jossie! I am currently a Junior at the International School of Panama (ISP) and I am 16 years old. I was born and raised in Panama City while also being in New York City for nearly 4 years. I enjoy spending time with my family and playing volleyball. I will be one of your chairs in this year's PANAMUN XXXI United Nations Children’s Fund. I am so excited to be part of this year's MUN! I was first introduced to PANAMUN in the 8th grade during the pandemic and was part of the UNDP. Though it felt a little stressful, in the end I had a life changing experience that I couldn't regret. MUN has personally been a way for me to expose myself to social situations and be able to speak with confidence and fluency and hopefully, it can get you some good personal development/enjoyment as well. I am overjoyed to have you guys as delegates and can't wait to meet you all! Email: st-1208008@is.edu.pa
Monty Lockwood
Hello Delegates! My name is Montgomery Lockwood but you can call me Monty. I am currently a senior at the International School of Panama. Panamun has taught me to be more confident, debate properly and let my voice be heard. That is why I am especially honored to be your chair this year for PANAMUN XXXI, in the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF). I was lucky enough to be raised in seven countries around the world, but I consider myself to be Italian as that is my home country. This will be my third year in Panama, and consequently the third MUN I will be participating in. I assure you all that this Panamun will be an enriching and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I look forward to meeting you on PANAMUN day and if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me or my co-chair through my email.
