Annalise Patton
Hello Delegates of UNW! My name is Annalise Patton and I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I am honored to be one of your chairs for PANAMUN XXXI in the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women committee. I was born in the United States, but in sixth grade I moved to Switzerland and lived there for three years. I have lived in Panama for two years now and plan on graduating high school from here. In 9th grade, I attended my first ever MUN conference which was PANAMUN XXIX; since then I have participated in two conferences and joined the diplomacy club. I enjoy being involved in activities at school including student council, volleyball, theater, and especially GirlUp. For years now, I have been passionate about giving women equal rights and raising awareness for the struggles women go through. I was in the UNW committee the previous PANAMUN, and this inspired me to become a chair for the next year. In UNW this year, I hope to build a respectful community between the delegates, chairs, and admin. Aryan Suri
Hello, delegates! My name is Aryan Suri and I am currently a junior at King’s Christian Collegiate in Ontario, Canada. I am very excited to be one of your chairs in the UNW committee at this year’s edition of PANAMUN! I have lived and gone to school in Toronto my entire life, and look forward to meeting a diverse group of delegates in our committee. My experience in Model UN started in 9th grade when I participated in my first conference located at the University of Toronto. Since then, I have been to four additional conferences, including PANAMUN XXX in the UNOOSA committee. Along with this, I chaired the International Press Institute committee at my school's conference back home, and am currently a USG at my school. I am interested in medicine and law, and in my free time I enjoy playing sports like basketball, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. I promise to contribute positively to this committee, and I urge delegates to remain respectful and attentive during debate sessions as important issues in today’s world are sure to be brought up.
