Lucas Reveco

Hello, my name is Lucas Reveco Tardio and I’m currently a junior at the International School of Panama (ISP). Although both of my parents are from Chile, I was born in Brazil, but I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I moved to Panama two years ago from Argentina. I’ve been involved in PANAMUN since ninth grade, making this PANAMUN my third conference. This year, I will have the honor and privilege to chair the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC). Besides my interest in debating, I love watching and playing sports and spend time with my friends. I hope that during this PANAMUN conference we don’t only have a great debate, but also have fun together. I hope that I have the chance to hear all of your ideas and have an entertaining debate. I am looking forward to this debate and I hope you delegates are too! Good luck, and see you soon!

Maria Elisa Yanes

Welcome Delegates! My name is Maria Elisa Yanes and I’ll be your chair for The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) in this year’s PANAMUN XXVI. I’m 17 years old and currently a Senior in the International School of Panama. I was born in Denver, Colorado and shortly after moved to Venezuela, where I lived for nearly seven years. In 2009 I moved to Panama due to the political and economic situation we were living in Caracas. I have participated in PANAMUN twice as a delegate and once as a chair for the Human Rights Council. This conference has helped me find a passion for debating and given me the opportunity to find solutions to issues worldwide. Other than debating, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as playing soccer and being outdoors. Let’s give the best of ourselves and show what we can really do. I wish you all the best of luck and I hope you enjoy this experience as much as I have. See you soon!
