For the first time in the history of an PANAMUN conference, we have a theme that is more about an attitude than it is about a topic. Because it is an attitude, every issue in this year’s conference is connected to our theme.  So what does it mean to Foster Global Resilience?  It means to nurture the attitude of bouncing back from the uncertainties, speculation and atrocities of the world today.  Every day we hear about a shooting, a plane crash, an earthquake and so many other things that make us lose faith in the world we believe in.  The truth is, we can either complain about how the world is such a terrible place, or take the initiative to come back from those terrible situations stronger than we ever were before, and that is exactly what this theme is all about.
