Hello everyone! My name is María Belén Mora and I’m happy to be this year's head of the diplomacy club for PANAMUN’s 30th anniversary.

I am currently a junior at the International School of Panama. I was born in Argentina and moved to Panama at the age of 3. Although I haven’t lived in many countries, attending an international school has allowed me to learn and experience different cultures which has made me grow as a person.

I attended my first debate conference in the 8th grade and have attended 10 conferences since! Debate is not only a passion of mine, but has allowed me to discover what I want from my life. That being to help people in need and help make a difference.

To tell you more about myself, apart from debate I enjoy music, reading, and taking on different projects. I love raising awareness on issues that surround me and educating others and myself in order to bring justice to those in need.

I can't wait to learn more about each one of you and help you get ready to give your all at the conference. I know everyone is capable of performing well at this year's edition of PANAMUN, the only thing they need is a little push. I wish you the best of luck in PANAMUN, and the rest of your debate journey. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me and I’ll be happy to answer them.
