María Carlota Michel
Head of Administrative Staff
Hello everyone!! My name is Maria Carlota Michel and I’m the Head of Admins for this year's PANAMUN conference.
I am currently a senior at the International School of Panama and this will be my 4th year attending PANAMUN. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and lived there my whole life before I moved to the US. Later on, my family decided to move to Panama and we have been here for the last 5 years. Attending an international school and living in different countries has allowed me to meet people from all over the world and get to know different cultures which has helped me adapt easily in various environments.
Even though debating is not my biggest strength, I have very good organizational and planning skills. I find ways in which I can help with my areas of expertise while improving and learning in those areas which are more difficult for me. This year I am working along with the DSG of Admins and other admin volunteers in order to make ISP a welcoming (and decorated!) environment and debate ready for all of you!
I'm excited to be able to see the hard work of the admins come to life for all of you to admire!! I wish you all the best of luck in this year's conference and hope you enjoy it as much as I have these last 3 years.
