Clara Crystal
Head of Middle School Diplomacy Club
Hi, delegates! My name is Clara Crystal, and I am currently a senior at the International School of Panama!
For you all to know a little bit about me, I was born in Boston, but I have lived in Panama for most of my life. In 7th grade, I told myself that debate was not "my thing." However, after a teacher's awfully good persuasive skills, I was convinced to be a part of MUN. This year, I have the honor of being one of the heads for the Middle School Diplomacy Club at the upcoming PANAMUN XXX Conference!
Many of the choices I have made over my high school career are all in the hopes of one day being a teacher, specializing in working with neurodivergent students. Being Head was one of those decisions I took in order to start embracing neurodiversity, and normalizing our differences in our very own dolphin community! Aside from debate, I am also the president Student Council and a middle-distance runner on my school's track team.
I want to open up a safe and comforting space for us to all learn more about ourselves and the world around us. For my MS delegates, this is your time to shine bright and make amazing clauses. See you soon, future diplomats!
