Guilherme da Paixao

Hello delegates! Welcome to PANAMUN XXX! My name is Guilherme da Paixao, currently a Junior at the International School of Panama. I am extremely honored to be one of the chairs of the United Nations Security Council! I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When I was two years old, my family and I moved to Mexico City, and there, we stayed for 6 years. Then we went back to Brazil. After two years, we moved to Bogotá, Colombia, where I spent two more years of my life. Afterward, we decided to come to Panama City, Panama, where we are planning to stay here until the end of high school. This is my fifth year at ISP. I've participated in around six MUN conferences. In those conferences, I've learned how to work with possible strangers to find solutions that could end world crises. This year, I am more than excited to hear all possible solutions to solve this year's issues relating to security and peace concerns! We will do our complete best for all delegates to have a great debating experience! Hope to see all the delegates in October! And the best of luck!

Clarice Bezerra

Hi, delegates! Welcome to PANAMUN XXX! My name is Clarice Bezerra, and I am currently a senior at the International School of Panama. I am honored to be a chair for this year’s Middle School United Nations Security Council (MS UNSC) and I look forward to working hard together with my co-chair to achieve the best MUN experience for all! I was born in Quito, Ecuador, but my family is from Recife, Brazil. I have lived in Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and am currently living in Panama, where I have lived for the past 13 years. I enjoy playing games, hanging out with friends and family, drawing, going to the beach, and cooking. Additionally, I especially enjoy MUN. I have been doing MUN since 7th grade, and this will be my final conference in high school as a returning chair. MUN has taught me many incredible values, in particular, speaking in public, being prepared, and overall awareness of pressing issues. I am enthusiastic to hear all the approaches to this year's issues prepared! I am certain that we will construct a fun, yet productive and knowledgeable debate! Feel free to reach out and ask questions, I will be more than happy to help. Thank you for participating in this year's PANAMUN, and I look forward to meeting you all!
