My name is Gabriela Tovar, and I’m sixteen years old. I’ve been participating in the previous Panamun conferences for three years now as a delegate; and I’ve come to the realization that delegating isn’t my thing. This being my third year in Panamun, I would like to try something different, so this is why I’m applying for admin. My creativity, determination and collaboration are exactly what this position asks for. So, I’m willing to fully participate and collaborate with the chairs, admins and delegates to make this Panamun a successful conference.

My name is Maria Ines Quihillalt and I have been forming part of the ISP community for almost a year and a half and have participated in PANAMUN 2015 “Combating Modern Extremism”. From my experience, I learned that debating is not for me. I spent three days at PANAMUN observing how other brave delegates debated one another, and occasionally I contributed with the point of view of my delegation without making any point in the EcoSoc Council. Even though I didn’t have a great time during the meetings, the conference was amazing. The work done by other students was huge and what most surprised me was that the organizers were teenagers just like me. They have the same busy and overwhelming high school schedule and still were able to carry out one of the best MUN conference that ISP has hosted, or at least that is what people all over the school commented. So the reason I want to be an admin is because I want to contribute with the conference in a productive way, and to be proud of what astounding things students can manage to do as a community. With my spirit, enthusiasm, and teamwork skills I believe that I would be an effective group member that will accomplish every single task with full commitment and responsibility. I am eager to participate in a Model United Nations conference as I have never participated before, making good use of my artistic abilities and my organization to provide the help necessary to reach the standard set by the conference of last year. My personal goal is to learn from what I have learned last year, incorporate it, and assemble the best Model United Nations that ISP will ever have.
